Do you LOVE Dogs, like celebrating, and want to attend an event close to home? Well, then this event is for you! Welcome to Vail’s 1st Annual St. PAWtrick’s Day Dog Adoption event! It is being held at the Land Between the Tracks, 13105 E. Colossal Cave Rd. from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 12th, 2022. Come with an open heart and you might be going home with four more feet than you came with!
This event will host local adoption organizations–The Big Mutt Network, HSSA, Hope of Deliverance, just to name a few. There will be dogs available to take home that day, and many more to apply for who are in foster care and can’t attend the event in person. Beverages from the Vail Coffee Stop, and Winston Brothers BBQ food truck will keep you hydrated and full. Local vendors with dog related services, retail items, and treats—both canine and human will be there too! The Rincon Valley Fire District, and a K-9 police dog in partnership with Az K9 Heroes will be there in support of the cause as well.
Remember to dress you and your furry kid(s) for St. PAWtrick’s Day and participate in the Costume Contest to win a Prize! Enter the Raffle for fantastic items donated by local businesses. All money raised will go to Cody’s Friends, another wonderful non-profit that provides dog food and supplies to other local human and animal charities in need.
There are so many worthy local non-profit animal rescue groups in Tucson. It will be nice to see them in Vail spreading the word about their wonderful work, saving as many dogs as they can, and finding them Fur-ever Homes. We know Vail will support this new event is a BIG way! See you there!
