Spring is here which means it’s time for the new. Spring has been known as the season of rebirth, resurrection, and regrowth.
Spring is when we get to really reflect on everything, and start changing things we didn’t feel helped or benefited us in anyway. It’s when we get to do spring cleaning, really enjoy ourselves, and take time to self-reflect.
Due to my gallbladder surgery I just had, I will be taking this spring to take care of my physical health.
My sibling, Ky, when asked what they plan to do for the rebirth of spring plans be more in tune with their spiritual side, saying, “I want to work on stoicism and my own spiritual well-being, so that way I’m not as emotional or tired as I once was.”
My grandma wants to get her spring cleaning done. “Downsizing and getting rid of things we don’t need,” she said. She wants to bring more nature into our lives and start planting her own vegetables.
A wonderful thing about spring is the weather. It’s the time where everything begins to bloom again. So this spring it’s a great time to get back outside and enjoy the world around us. Spring is perfect for those fun outdoor activities like hiking, going to the zoo, and camping.
So go out there, have fun, and enjoy the spring. Get out there and see the world, go on an adventure, even. Get a breath of fresh air for your mental health. Go look at some flowers around you. Maybe even visit sites like the Grand Canyon. There’s so much to do in the spring, so why not?
Concerts are also a great option. Go out to festivals: The Pima county fair coming up soon, so enjoy it. Don’t forget that this is a time of rebirth and regrowth, so take some time for yourself. Maybe this is the time you finally start journaling, or meditating on things. Show yourself that you love yourself and want the best for you.
Take time to listen to your emo
tions and to what you need in life.
“Early spring is the time for vigorous change, a preparation for the heat-driven oppression that is to come,” said Henry Rollins.
