Raises Funds to Prevent Veteran Suicide
The First Annual Irreverent Warriors (IW) Tucson Convoy will take place on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022. Jeeps and off-road vehicle owners are invited to join the convoy.
The IW Tucson Convoy is presented by the Tucson Jeeps Club. Proceeds from this event directly contribute to the cost of the IW Silkies Hike. The Silkies Hike will be held on October 22, 2022. Veterans will hike 22 kilometers, while carrying 22kg (50lbs) on their backs, for the 22 Veterans who take their lives every day.
Participants will gather at Pima Community College Desert Vista Campus, 5901 S. Calle Santa Cruz by 9:00 a.m. At 10:00 a.m., the convoy will travel northwest on S. Calle Santa Cruz to Valencia Road to Houghton Road, where it will proceed to Medella Vina Ranch, 4450 S. Houghton Road.
The IW Tucson convoy is expected to arrive at the Medella Vina Ranch by 11:00 a.m. There will be a resource fair, raffle prizes, food and entertainment. This event is open to the public.
