Many of you know that the land where the Rita Ranch Community Garden resides has now been sold and that our last day is April 30th. We do have a temporary location where we will be able to store all of the garden blocks, fencing, sheds, potting bench, etc., but for our forever home, we are currently in negotiations and hope to have an announcement in the near future. The Rita Ranch Community Garden has been a wonderful community resource and we are working hard to bring it back to life in a new, yet to be determined, location.

To help with moving and short term storage costs, we are having garden sales every weekend in April (except Easter Sunday), from 9am to noon, until everything that we can’t move is sold. There are organic plants, soil, mulch, lots of planting equipment, 2 extra sheds, irrigation equipment, surplus bricks, seeds, and more. Please join us as we end one chapter and begin a new one.
Please consider supporting the garden by donating to our GoFundMe campaign. We are a 501(c)3 organization, so every dollar donated is tax deductible. Our GoFundMe page is titled “Help Move the SE Tucson Community Garden” and you can find it here: https://gofund.me/66864584 or reach out to us via email:
