Every living person has what is referred to as an “aura”. This encompasses the electromagnetic frequency of your body. The aura emanates from you as naturally as you have skin, that is to say, it just is. Although people don’t always see auras, many commonly feel them. An example would be walking into a room and knowing there has just been an argument. The tension is palpable. Another way we sense auras is feeling uplifted around certain people or down after an encounter with an “energetic vampire” who seems to suck the life out of the room. These energetic exchanges can overwhelm people. If you are over or under aware of the emotions of those around you, paying attention to auras is something you could benefit from. The physical auric body is the layer closest to the body and outlines it quite closely. Even non-living objects have this layer. It’s just something all organized matter gives off. It is the densest layer.
Our Auras have 7 layers that correspond with the 7 major chakras:
The etheric body layer corresponds to the root chakra and is innermost. It connects with our lower physical aspects and those needs being met.
The emotional body layer is connected to your sacral chakra and correlates with your mood. Not as many people are able to visualize this layer, but many feel it readily.
The mental body is the final layer that directly associates to your physical form. It relates to thoughts and intellect, your mind. It also correlates to your solar plexus chakra.
The next layer out is the astral body called the bridge for the link it provides. It is the nexus between the physical and spiritual. It is connected to your heart chakra.
Fifth furthest from the body is the etheric template, which is associated with your higher physical aspects in the spiritual plane. It shares aspects with the throat chakra.
Next is the celestial body layer correlating with your third eye chakra and its characteristics. This is where your higher self and other spirit beings can connect.
Finally, you have the Ketheric body which is the layer that deals with your crown chakra and your connection to Higher Power.
These differing layers are our connection and interaction points with the many aspects of life that we do not easily see with our eyes. Our entirety is more than a physical body, there is a whole universe within our being. Understanding how your aura is influenced by and affects those around you can help you make healthy choices and be more at peace in life.
