When the school year started last August, Vail School District Foundation was unsure how we would be able to fulfill our mission of helping the students and staff in the Vail School District. We knew that due to COVID-19, our community events and fundraising efforts would be limited. But then our amazing business partners stepped in and miraculously, we were able to double our giving from the previous school year. Look at some of the amazing programs that we were able to fund thanks to our very generous business donors!
• 8th Grade Promotion Celebration at Corona Foothills MS
• New iPads at Andrada HS, Mica Mountain HS, Vail Blended Learning, Rincon Vista MS, Old Vail MS, Vail Innovation Center and Acacia Community Programs
• Science supplies for Corona Foothills MS
• New Document Cameras for Desert Willow Elem, Acacia Elem, Cottonwood Elem, Sycamore Elem, Corona Foothills MS, Desert Sky MS and Cienega HS
• New Camcorder for Vail Academy HS
• MPR Speakers for Mesquite Elem
• New Amazon Fire Tables for Vail Academy HS
• New Chromebooks for Sycamore Elem and Copper Ridge Elem
• 4 New Goggle Sanitizing Stations for Cienega HS
• (4) $1000 Scholarships for Vail High School Seniors
