With the new school year well under way, Vail School District Foundation has been actively working with all our schools to find ways to support them during these unprecedented times. Education and educational needs look quite different this year. Vail School District Foundation is proud to announce that we have approved $25,000 to be donated to our schools. These funds will support our students greatest needs for the 2020-21 school year.
We are also excited to announce that we have partnered with Bayer Fund and just awarded Cienega Agricultural Department a $10,000 grant to fund supplies for a poultry harvesting facility. The grant will also be used to supplement their existing greenhouse to raise crops. These crops will be sold back to our Vail community to support and promote healthy diets. We would like to say thank you to Bayer Fund for your generous donation. Vail School District Foundation would not be able to do the work we do without generous donations from our donors.
