In January, Vail School District Foundation launched our first annual Vail Pride Day Scholarships. Three $1000 scholarships were up for grabs and any senior in the Vail School District pursuing post-graduation education or training was invited to apply. Fix Auto learned about our scholarships and graciously offered to add another $1000 scholarship in the area of Career and Technical Education (CTE). We received many applications, and the competition was tight! But we are pleased to announce these very deserving winners!

$1000 Career and Technical Education Scholarship – Alyssa Rousseau
$1000 Career and Technical Education Scholarship – Ellie Wolcott
$1000 Service Scholarship – Abigail Tittle
$1000 Resilience Scholarship – Nicholas Schlabach

These students will be recognized via Zoom on March 5th by the Vail School District Foundation where their families will be in attendance. We also will be recognizing them at their respective schools. If you know these students, give them a big congratulations for a job well done!

The Foundation is also launching our online fundraising campaign. These funds will be used to support our students and teachers to enhance learning opportunities. This year we have been able to award over $33,000 to different programs and to purchase much-needed supplies and technology for our schools. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution through our website: www.vsdfoundaiton.org. All funds go directly to the Vail School District. Thank you for your partnership!
