The holiday season is a time of giving. And the Vail School District Foundation loves to be able to give back to our schools and our students! Last month we had the pleasure of seeing some of our donations put to good use. Vail Academy and High School used their funds to purchase 18 new Kindle Fire Tablets. Copper Ridge just purchased 18 new Chromebooks. Corona Foothills used their money to purchase new science standards equipment. Cienega High School acquired four new goggle sanitizing stations. If you have kiddos in these schools, ask them if they have had the chance to use these new items!

We were also able to see the 9 square court finally completed at Old Vail Middle School. The Foundation awarded a grant to Josh Park last school year for his Eagle Scout Project, but due to COVID the project was put on hold. Josh, with the help of several volunteers, was finally able to complete the court. If you have never played 9 square, you are missing out! We hope the students at OVMS enjoy this new addition to their campus.

We are grateful to our generous donors who make these moments happen. If you are a business or a family who would like to make a tax-deductible contribution that will directly benefit our Vail students, contact us at vailsdfoundation@gmail.com. Happy Holidays from Vail School District Foundation!
