Esmond Station K8 Section Gang Museum Club – Powered by Kids, Fueled by Curiosity
4th – 8th Grade Students

Section Gang Museum Club students have been learning about foodways. Through thinking about a food that is special to their family and asking questions they are discovering the role that food plays to bring people together, to create old and new traditions, to uncover unspoken roles, and to our cultural heritage. Vail Preservation Society is privileged to work with Esmond Station K8 teacher Mrs. Yvonne Madigan and Museum Club Members to present a snapshot of foodways in the Vail area that represent the traditions of a growing community.
