Did you know that Vail School District Foundation is now an approved non-profit for Raytheon employees to donate to? And Raytheon will then match your donation to double your generosity! We are very excited to partner with our Raytheon families in the Vail School District. Your donations will help benefit Vail staff and students through our grant and scholarship program. Here are a few of the latest grants awarded to our Vail Schools!
Mr. Miller and Bobcat TV at Cienega High School received a $1000 grant in November. Bobcat TV gives our students the opportunity to stream and announce high school events and develop their broadcasting skills.
Mrs. Kitzmiller at Esmond Station was awarded a $200 grant to help fund their Polar Express family event in December.
Mr. Irvin at Cienega High School received a $1000 grant to enhance his reading library. The funds will be used to purchase books for his students to check out and read at home.
Vail School District Foundation would also like to thank Rob Sanchez, Brian Miglia, April Baltierriez, Maya Asher, Jon and Heather Stough, and Rosemont Copper for their generous donations. With their generosity, VSDF will be able to further our mission of enhancing learning opportunities for our Vail Students!
