Planting made simple
August’s RitoWrap flavor of the month is “Balsamic-Basil” and is filled with grilled chicken, lots of colorful, crunchy veggies and a gourmet balsamic basil aioli. We use both Italian basil and purple basil in this flavor and it’s a summer fresh option for the warm weather of August.
We also have Smokey BBQ, Honey Chipotle and a vegetarian option with fresh lemon-garlic aioli on a whole wheat wrapper. Don’t forget to try our fresh homemade prickly pear lemonade and mesquite chocolate chip cookies!
We are in front of the garden selling RitaRito Wraps on Saturday and Sundays from 10:30 am until about 1:30 pm. The address for the Rita Ranch Community Garden is 7471 S. Houghton Rd, Tucson, AZ 85747. We are across the parking lot from Ace Hardware and just south of Valencia. Would you like to come garden with us? We have 1 more bed ready to go for a new gardener.
