Our wonderful community continues to grow. Here’s a quick look back at major store openings in 2017!
January: TMC One Rincon Health Campus opened. El Coronado’s has moved from the Safeway Shopping Center to the old Buddy’s Grill location on Houghton Road.
April: Houghton Road bridge construction begins.
May: Safeway officially announced construction of a new location in Vail.
June: Rancho Rustico construction begins at Las Plazas Old Vail. Northwest Emergency Center opens.
July: Baggins opens at Las Plazas Old Vail. Northwest Allied Physicians Vail Opens.
August: Petco opens.
September: A new strip of stores began construction. Included are Jersey Mike’s, Realty Executives and Inverse Jiu Jitsu and Yoga. Hughes Federal Credit Union begins construction. Popeye’s and TJ Maxx opens.
October: Ross opens.
