Our eleventh holiday season has arrived, and the spirit of the season has started to show. It’s so nice to see our happy clients and staff, all with a glimmer in their eyes, planning for their holiday celebrations and get-togethers. There is a special happiness we all experience from giving and caring about others. It could be argued we need more of this goodwill and good cheer all year round. We agree. And that is what we have strived for from day one. It’s a promise we work at and will always make sure to honor.
After two years of pandemic, we at Bavilon are grateful to still be here. We have been working with a limited number of stylists intentionally, and with one having retired recently, we had been searching for another great stylist, and I’m happy to say we found one! We work hard to ensure great service and our standards are high. We realize the stylists we provide must not only possess great technical abilities, as many do, but not many meet our high standards. We test their talents by requiring a demo in which they do cut and color services, working alongside our stylists. Any applicant whose technical abilities pass muster we then discuss with our stylists regarding what they saw and if they have any comments. They always provide great input, and through this process we have found truly exceptional individuals. Our latest acquisition helps us meet the demand, and it also allows us to get folks in a little sooner, too.
We hope everyone takes a moment to contemplate what this season is really about. It’s about all of us, all being there for one another, and always doing our best for each other. It’s a time for patience, and caring for all, especially those who are not as fortunate or those who face tough challenges. By thinking good thoughts, good things happen. And goodwill can help spread happiness this time of year.
