Recently, our family was looking for a car show to attend and realized that we couldn’t find one in southeast Tucson/Vail at that point.
It makes sense, then, that when our group of church friends was looking for a way to serve our southeast Tucson/Vail community that I brought up a car show! We want to invite everybody to our “School of Cool” car show on July 31, 2021, at Empire High School in Vail from 5:30-9pm.
This is a community event and everybody is invited! Look for classic and modern cars and trucks, food trucks, raffle baskets, and a bicycle contest for the kids! Show cars and trucks pay a small fee plus classroom supply and everybody else is encouraged to bring a donation for our VUSD teachers! So come on out and have a great time with us!
We are also having a “Cars Loved and Lost” writing contest for those of you with a passion for a car you loved but don’t have any more. The winner of the 250 word or less writing contest will have their story published right here in the Vail Voice!
