The Vail School District Foundation kicked off our first monthly event – Community University. April’s topic was “Do you Control Your Money . . .  or Does Your Money Control You?” Thank you to the members of the community who came. It was a successful evening and we look forward to partnering with the Greater Vail Chamber of Commerce on future topics.

Please join us for the next Community University on Thursday, May 23rd, 5:30 PM at The Chamber Connection at 13105 E. Colossal Cave Road. The event will held the 4th Thursday of every month. If you have topics you would like to see covered, please feel free to email us with suggestions.

The Vail School District Foundation would also like to express a huge thank you to Dutch Bros. and the Vail community for a very successful fundraiser. Hundreds of community members came to enjoy the delicious beverages at our new Dutch Bros. located near Houghton and Old Vail Road.

The event raised $1,924 that will be used to help pay sports fees for students who might not otherwise be able to participate in sports through the district. We are grateful for the partnership between Dutch Bros. and the Vail School District Foundation and look forward to the opportunity to work with them again. If you are a business that would like to host a fundraiser to benefit the children and teachers in the Vail School District, please contact us at vailsdfoundation@gmail.com.
