Vail Pride Day at Charron Vineyards
Charron Vineyards is a family-run small business that was established in 1995. Charron is Vail’s ONLY vineyard and winery! Located just 15 minutes from downtown Vail and Corona de Tucson, Charron Vineyards offers wine tastings, wine by the glass, bottle, or ½ glass, yummy wine slushies and delicious, warm mulled wine. You will also find a selection of snacks, meat and cheese, non-alcoholic beverages, and we’re kid and dog friendly, too.
On Sunday February 18, 2024, Charron Vineyards will celebrate “Vail Pride Day at the Vineyard”! We are a proud part of the Vail community, and we are partnering with the Vail Preservation Society for our new wine release – “Between the Tracks” Red Wine – that will launch during our Vail Pride Day celebration. Members from the Vail Preservation Society will be on-hand to talk about the organization, and JJ Lamb will officially toast our new wine release at 3:00 pm.
“Between the Tracks” Red Wine is a delicious, dry red blend of Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Barbera, and Nebbiolo. This wine celebrates the history of the Vail community which was built upon the railroad that goes through downtown today. Vail Preservation Society has been working hard raising funds to restore the “1908 Old Vail Post Office” – Vail’s only pre-statehood building, which is located between the two tracks of the railroad. Hence the name of our latest wine. Each time we sell a bottle of “Between the Tracks”, $2.00 will be donated to the Vail Preservation Society.
We will have a full day of fun on Sunday February 18th! The Haus of Brauts food truck will be at the vineyard from 12-3pm that day – so come grab a bratwurst on a pretzel bun while enjoying our latest wine release and great country music! We will be celebrating Vail Pride with live music from popular local musician Andy Hersey from 1-3pm. Andy has regularly performed in the Vail area, and you will love his country western sound! Then, from 3-5pm, professional dance instructor Terry Daily will be on our patio teaching Country Western Line Dancing. Class is $10 and open to all ages and skill levels! This is fun for the whole family!
We have a lot of fun events all year round, so check out our social media (Facebook & Instagram) or visit charronvineyards.com to see what’s going on right here in Vail, AZ.
