My plans after high school are to study Marketing, and maybe Entrepreneurship, at the Eller College of Business at the University of Arizona, while applying those skills that I learned by working, designing menus, and managing the website for my family’s business, The Vail Coffee Stop.
The biggest challenge that I have faced since Freshman year (and still facing) is time management. By involving myself with FBLA, NHS, Drama, and my church, on top of all the other responsibilities that I had, I was having trouble keeping up and at some points, my grades showed how much I was missing. By working out a planner and learning how to say no to things, I was able to lighten my workload and put more quality work into lesser things.
I have had many inspirations throughout high school, and it is hard to pick out one, as they all inspired me to do different things. One that may have impacted me the most is probably my dad. He has shown me that it is never too late to do what you dream of and to stick to that dream. He opened the coffee truck in the midst of a pandemic, with no prior business ownership experience, and involved three generations of our family at the same time. He has shown me that achieving dreams is possible, but only if you put in the work to make them come true.

I am planning on going to the U of A to be a physical therapist.
The challenge I had to overcome was I am a competitive gymnast, so I have to miss school sometimes for competitions. I have practice every day after school, so I have to have really good time management and make sure I am on top of it.
My brother has been my inspiration throughout high school because he is 7 years older than me, and he has a family, and did very well in school.
