Friday, July 8, 11:30 a.m. — Concert, “The Tirebiters” – Lex Browning (vocals, guitar), Steve Grams (vocals, bass), Matt Mitchell (guitar) and Les Merrihew (drums) play originals with roots in blues, folk and a slice of humor.
Monday, July 11, 2:30 p.m. — Lecture by Kellyn Shaw, Director of Provider Relations and Business Development for Northwest Healthcare, “Introduction to Services and Specialties at Northwest Medical Center – Houghton, Your New Community Hospital.”
Friday, July 15, 11:30 a.m. — Concert, “Homero Ceron’s Latin Jazz Quartet” – Homero Ceron (vibraphone), Amilcar Guevara (piano), Mike Levy (bass) and Danny Brito (drums) play traditional Latin Jazz plus originals.
Monday, July 18, 2:30 p.m. — Lecture by Eric Kaldahl, president of the Amerind Foundation, “Amerind’s History of Research.”
Monday, July 25, 2:30 p.m. — Lecture by Emma Califf, Invertebrate Keeper, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, “The Medicinal use of Spider Venoms.”
Thursday July 28, 7 p.m. — Concert, “Kiko Jacome Trio” – singer/songwriter/guitarist Kiko Jacome, along with bass and cajon, play originals and oldies covers.
Friday, August 5, 11:30 a.m. — Concert, “Heather Hardy & Alvin Blaine Duo” – violinist Heather Hardy and guitarist/dobro player Alvin Blaine sing and play jazzy blues.
