Nothing is more exciting than loading up the family and picking out the perfect Christmas tree! Remember the fun the Grizwold’s had? Wouldn’t it be nice if you didn’t have to go to the forest or a big box store to find that perfect tree? You don’t have to! You can purchase a tree from the Boy Scouts in your own neighborhood. And when you buy locally, the money you spend goes to support the Scouts.

For the past several years, the local Boy Scout Troop 770 sets up a tree lot and sells Christmas trees and wreaths. They will also delivery Christmas trees to your home. When you buy from the Scouts, you not only get a beautiful tree, but a lot of Christmas cheer too! They serve hot cocoa and usually have a fire going so you can roast marshmallows at the tree lot. The Christmas tree fundraiser is one of the Scouts’ favorite activities and look forward to it all year long. It is also the biggest fundraisers.

We invite the community to use your holiday decorating dollars wisely by purchasing wreaths and trees from Boy Scout Troop 770. Money raised goes directly back to your community and supports the success of these Scouts. The funding offsets the cost of campouts, gear, and community service projects.

Christmas trees and wreaths can be purchased starting November 27 at the American Legion Post 109 at 15921 S Houghton Rd, Corona De Tucson, AZ 85641

Also join us for our December dinner on Saturday, Dec. 4. We will be serving herb-crusted pork tenderloin, cranberry compote, brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes and gravy. Adults cost is $12 and kids are $6.

Come for dinner and get your holiday decorations!
