Do you believe in magic? The Vail Chorale does, and we cordially invite the Greater Vail Community to see why at our upcoming Fall 2023 concert, The Magic of Music. Two performances are scheduled, on Saturday November 4th at 3:00 p.m. at the Arizona Senior Academy, 13715 E. Langtry Lane, and on Sunday November 5th at 3:00 p.m. at the Del Webb Community Center, 10260 S. Blendu Way in Vail.
This delightful concert includes “Magic to Do” from Pippin, a medley of tunes from Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods, “The Lobster Quadrille” and “Alice’s Theme” from Danny Elfman’s Alice in Wonderland, and Eric Whitacre’s beautiful “The Seal Lullaby” with words by Rudyard Kipling. Also by Eric Whitacre, his zany Animal Crackers set to words by poet and humorist Ogden Nash. Bring your friends and family for a Fall treat!
The Vail Chorale is Greater Vail’s intergenerational community chorus, presenting Spring and Fall concerts since its inception in 2011, and sharing the joys (and magic) of choral music with both loyal and new fans. The Chorale concerts are open to the public free of charge. Donations gratefully accepted.
