Work resumes October 21st on the signal project at Interstate 10 and Wilmot, Kolb, and Rita roads.

The Arizona Department of Transportation will restart work near the Interstate 10 interchanges at Wilmot, Kolb and Rita roads on Monday, October 21st between 8:30 AM and 4 PM.

Work will begin at I-10 and Wilmot Road where crews will make adjustments to the signals and the lane configurations. Once work is complete at Wilmot Road, crews will install the new signal systems at Kolb and Rita roads. Motorists should expect delays and alternating lane restrictions where crews are working. The entire project is scheduled to be complete in November. Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

Houghton Road to Union Pacific Railroad to I-10.

This job is completed. Speed limits have been posted to 45 MPH. Some daytime work to finalize the landscaping and touch up will occur. Speed may be reduced during this operation. Final striping will occur once the asphalt has cured.
