Dear Editor,

I would like to comment on the Rabbi’s Corner article that was published in your latest issue of the Vail Voice. I was shocked to see that every instance of God’s name had the letter “o” replaced with a hyphen. Has it really gotten to this point, that God’s name cannot be written?

I Know that society is overly paranoid about offending anyone, but in your attempt not to offend anyone you have offended me, as well as undoubtedly countless readers who believe if God. In my opinion you should be more concerned about offending God than offending your readers. I can’t believe that you had the audacity to alter God’s written name in this article. You might as well have referred to him as Harry or some other name that you prefer to use. If you have a problem with God, then don’t publish an article which disrespects Him in your paper. What you have done is blasphemy in my opinion, and I have lost all respect for your paper. We all will have to answer for our actions some day. I hope that you are prepared to answer for the choices that you are making for your publication.
