The 2020-2021 Optimist contests are open for students who are under the age of 19 as of Oct. 1, 2020 or have not yet completed secondary school. The Essay contest theme is “Reaching your Dreams by Choosing Optimism.” The Oratorical Contest theme is “Healing the World Through Optimism.” The Essay and Oratorical contests will be judged by the local Heat Optimist Club before moving on to the next level.
