Wow! It’s the middle of summer and school is back in session. Routines start getting established again and we can take the time to reflect on vacations, rest, much-needed breaks, and gratefully set back to work with renewed vigor. At Desert Skies United Methodist Church, we keep our students, teachers, and administrators in our prayers, and ask God’s blessings on a fruitful and happy school year. We are grateful to have been able to help with the recent Vail Family University and Resource Fair. We are proud to be a part of this community!

The church, too, is ready to get back to routine, so beginning on August 12th, our small groups for all ages will meet Sundays after worship (about 5:15 PM) in order for all of us to learn, grow, ask questions, and figure out how God wants to be present with us and for us and how we can be there for each other on our faith journeys. We invite you to join us for both worship and small groups…but feel free to choose either one! And “Messy Church” will begin again on September 2nd!
