I often hear that friends and loved ones are upset because they feel they have exhausted traditional healthcare remedies and don’t have the results they desire. They’ve visited all the specialists, done every test and tried all the different drugs, but are still left with no answers. They aren’t seeing the outcomes they want and their health goals are still unmet. How frustrating this can be?

ives of people everywhere. It gives us the baseline of health we know and expect in this day and age. It has increased the length and quality of life. For that, we are thankful. Unfortunately, not everyone is enjoying this baseline. Their baseline may be chronic or unexpectedly acute pain or disease. Some may merely be surviving and when traditional medicine doesn’t get us there, we turn to alternatives.
These days, we see many choosing alternative healthcare items or activities that bring them relief. Individuals today are empowered to take their healthcare into their own hands, you can too. Countless people change their diet, use essential oils, crystals, meditate, or practice selfcare to relieve stressors that generate health issues. That’s right, stress on the body and mind exacerbates or even invites ailments and discomfort into the body. Do you think many illnesses are psychosomatic? Maybe you have already experienced that in your life. Financial, physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and relationship stressors, or disorder lead to your physical conditions.
How do you determine which stress has caused what ailment? Is it that financial blunder that lead to the tennis elbow or the tennis? You can turn to professionals, and you can even determine them for yourself. Ask your inner knowingness, heart, or personal compass. Try the muscle test. Some people journal or use a pendulum.
So, what are your conditions? Are you finding joy in life? Have you discovered what alternative therapies can do for your quality of life? If not, get out there and find your selfcare. Get that massage. Try acupuncture. Take a weekend meditative retreat. Realign your energy for a healthier you. And, if you need help, call me at (520) 800-4383.
