Commission on Climate, Energy and Sustainability
The Commission on Climate, Energy, and Sustainability shall advise the Mayor and Council on: (a) the most effective and efficient methods of meeting the climate/energy/sustainability goals outlined in the City’s General Plan (b) methods for improving the City’s climate and environmental impact and adaptability in its operations; and (c) achieving the incremental as well as transformative systemic outcomes necessary to respond to climate, energy, and broader sustainability challenges in our region.

Complete Streets Coordinating Council
The CSCC is responsible for actively overseeing and bringing accountability to the Complete Streets Policy implementation process. The CSCC, the Technical Review Committee (TRC), and an integrated team of City staff representing multiple departments shall work collaboratively and inclusively together in a coordinated way to implement the Complete Streets policy.

Greens Committee
Recommend to the Mayor and Council the extent and location of the various golf activities and facilities of the city; and procedures and policy as to their operation, maintenance, fees and development. The Committee shall focus on financial oversight relating to the viability and accountability of the Golf Enterprise Fund, and make recommendations to the Mayor and

Parks and Connections Bond Oversight
Commission monitors the progress of the projects funded by the 2018 Bond Program; and ensure the purposes for which the Bond Program was approved are carried out and the proceeds from the Bond Program are separately accounted for. In any case where a change from the allocation described in or through the pamphlet may be needed due to unforeseen circumstances or extraordinary considerations or the public interest and the matter is referred to the Committee by the Mayor and Council, to study the need for such change and make a recommendation to the Mayor and Council to either approve or reject the change.

Planning Commission
Advise Mayor and Council, Planning and Development Services Department, and Housing and Community Development Department on the adoption of long-range plans, policies, specific plans, and standards that affect land use and development. Small Minority and Women Owned Business Commission (At Large)
Monitors effectiveness of the City’s SMWBE Program; Monitors local practices and policies which may have discriminatory impact on minority and women-owned businesses; Facilitates communication between the City and small businesses; Evaluates City policies and regulations for their impact on small businesses; Sponsors and conducts educational forums, hearings and workshops; Recommends to Mayor and Council alternative measures or legislation; Requests from any City department information/assistance; Assumes and undertakes other tasks/duties at the discretion and express direction of
