Last month, Vail School District Foundation had the honor of accompanying Mr. Bill Lloyd from Lloyd Construction to six schools throughout the district to present them with new document cameras. With online and hybrid learning, our teachers are needing new equipment in order to teach more effectively to our students at home.

Document cameras, along with Chromebook, are the one piece of equipment that have been requested the most. These cameras allow documents or images to be captured in real-time to display to large audiences. The teachers have the ability to clearly display an image or text from anywhere in the classroom to the students. Thanks to Mr. Lloyd and his generous donation to the foundation, 23 new document cameras were purchased and delivered to schools throughout the district. Thank you, Mr. Lloyd, for making sure that our Vail students and teachers are receiving the tools they need during this challenging time.
