Attention choral singers throughout Greater Vail and beyond! The Vail Chorale is inviting new members to join the ensemble for the Fall 2018 season. The non-auditioned community chorus, open to singers of all ages who enjoy singing in harmony, will begin rehearsals on Tuesday August 14th.

Presenting Fall and Spring concerts each year since 2011, the Vail Chorale is often invited to participate in community events as well, such as the Tucson Festival of Books, the Chamber of Commerce Vail Fest, and Vail School District events.

The theme for the Fall season is “Music of the ‘40’s,” and the November concerts will feature well-known favorites such as “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “Taking a Chance on Love,” “It Had to Be You,” “Seems Like Old Times,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “As Time Goes By,” and more.

Chorale members eagerly share their reasons for joining the ensemble:  “I’m ecstatic about the Vail Chorale! Great people, and we all enjoy singing!” “Coming to rehearsal after a long day at work, within 10 minutes I am rejuvenated and my heart is light!” “I’ve been hooked on choral singing since elementary school. The Vail Chorale provides the best of all my musical experiences, and the music is just challenging enough to keep me on my toes!”

It has been gratifying to see the Vail Chorale membership grow over the past two seasons, now running between 35-40 singers. Come join our ranks and share in the musical camaraderie! Rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Cienega High School, 12775 E. Mary Ann Cleveland Way, Room 218.
