As the school year closes, we would like to recognize the Cottonwood News Reporters who contributed monthly to The Vail Voice. The hard working reporters include Calissa Berry, Lulu Gomez, Alexis Anderson, Amelia Varela, Nathan Abrego, Marco Padilla, Brayden Magnuson, Parker Barnes, Hunter Fuenning, Julius Salvador and Kathryn Alaniz. A very special “thank you” to Mike Lavelle, Editor of The Vail Voice, for teaching the students the basics of reporting. He empowered them to explore their community and interests and to let their own voices be heard.
