A new statewide pilot program called Future Me is working with high school seniors in the Vail Unified School District to encourage them to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The program, called Future Me, is being implemented in the Vail Unified School District to encourage more high school seniors to pursue post-secondary education. “Your FAFSA tells you how much financial aid you qualify for so you can make informed decisions about education beyond high school,” says Linda Jensen, director of the Arizona College Access Network. “Many students who think they can’t afford to continue their education discover that two- or four-year colleges, or shorter certificate programs, are actually financially attainable.” To submit a FAFSA, visit FAFSA.gov.
