For 12 years, The Vail Chorale has been delighting Greater Vail Area audiences with twice-yearly free concerts, and appearances at local events. Its members are non-auditioned singers age eighteen and over, who love to sing with one other and provide beautiful music for its audiences.

Over time, Chorale President Julie Dawson and the Chorale leadership team realized the importance of a non-profit performing arts entity, not only to the Chorale, but to the Vail community.

So they created one: the Vail Performing Arts Society (VPAS). For the Chorale, its flagship entity, VPAS will provide oversight and administrative support. For the community, it will collaborate with and enhance relationships with other performing arts organizations by creating scholarships for young performers of the arts, as well as educational and experiential support and activities.

The VPAS vision is “to inspire, create, and celebrate artistic expression in the Vail community” and its mission is “to create experiences that move, enrich and inspire by connecting people in the community through outreach and the performing arts.”

If you are interested in supporting VPAS, serving on the board or just have some questions, please contact vailperformingartssociety@gmail.com.
