Dr. Amy Hoffman has been loving and treating animals since childhood. She grew up in a dairy farming community in Western New York and did her undergraduate studies in Buffalo. She worked as a veterinary assistant, receptionist, and technician for over 10 years before finally going to veterinary school at Ross University and graduated with honors after completion of her clinical education at Cornell University. Amy has worked all over the US, but has decided to call Vail her home. She has a husband, 4 children, and a large furry family! We have 3 horses, chickens, 3 goats, 3 English bull terriers, 7 cats, guinea pigs, gerbils, and parakeets and cockatiels! When not at work, she enjoys riding her horses and cooking vegetarian meals. Amy has 14 years of small animal and exotic emergency and urgent care experience and is looking forward to developing relationships with clients and pets in a mixed practice with emphasis upon prevention, not only treatment of disease.
