Dear Editor:
We moved to Vail from Palm Desert, CA about 1.5 years ago. We chose this area (new Tucson near Sahuarita & Wentworth) for many reasons and the longer we are here the more we like it. The Vail Voice has turned out to be an added bonus. The articles help us to learn about the area, its people and its history. Today I read two of the best articles so far and they were both by 8th graders, Conner Bingham & Aubrey Fatovich! They grabbed my interest and held me all the way. Aubrey’s article could be a movie script.
We had heard, even before we arrived, that Vail has the best schools in AZ. We started to experience some of that as we met some of the kids that live near us. But I was not prepared for the high level of writing that these two writers exhibited. Wow, we are proud to live here.
