Vail Rd, Colossal Cave/I-10 Project
Crews are still working on the bridges at SR 83. I would anticipate work beginning soon on the Eastbound I-10 bridge at Colossal Cave in the near future.
We will follow up with the project schedule and update in the next issue.
Please obey all traffic control devices and signage during this phase of construction.
Valencia Extension to Old Spanish Trail

Houghton Traffic Interchange over I-10
This project is set for bid in February 2020
Updates will be provided as we get them.
Houghton/Valencia to Mary Ann Cleveland
This project has been advertised for bid by the City of Tucson. Bid date is set for 3/6/2020. More information will be coming soon. Anticipated start date will be late April or Early May 2020
Library Water Line Installation
Crews have placed 90% of the new water line for the new Library. The crossing for the connection has been completed across Mary Ann Cleveland. Crews will begin cleaning up and preparing the area for the removal of the concrete barrier wall. Final paving of the trench across MAC will happen shortly. I know many of you have emailed and asked if that would be fixed. The asphalt currently on the surface is temporary.
Utility installation
I have noticed new utility construction around Atterbury Wash. It appears that new fiber optic lines may be going in along Mary Ann Cleveland. I will look into this project. It looks like only minor restrictions for now along the shoulder.
