Dear Heather,

Here in the Vail School District, summer goes by fast! I see all the school supplies and back to school essentials, and I can’t help but be a bit sadden by the end of summer. I want to have that internal excitement that can come with the start of a fresh year but I’m struggling. Any tips?

Dear Summertime,

It is always a bit sad when things conclude, but as the good old saying states, all good things must come to an end. Try not to view it as the end but rather the beginning. Focus on the new that will come, the fresh start. Maybe try throwing an end of summer party or back to school bash? When all else fails, remember that fall break is just around the corner! Happy 2018-2019 school year!
