Valedictorian Ethan Perrin from Andrada will be attending the University of Arizona, in the fall, majoring in Computer Science. Ethan notes “I have really been inspired by my dad. He is the one who has always shown me that if I push myself and try hard I can always succeed. It doesn’t matter where you start, all that matters is how hard you are willing to train and push yourself to succeed. I will always push myself to be my best and I think my dad has really helped to show me that.”
Salutatorian Kainoa Sauls from Andrada will be attending, in the fall, the University of Southern California majoring in Mechanical Engineering. A competitive diver, who will be on the USC Dive Team, Kainoa cites Michele Mitchell, one of the most decorated divers in Arizona, as a source of inspiration.

She cites her parents, who pushed her to continue studying what she is interested in, and teachers who were supportive of her and what she wants to learn.
Salutatorian Elisa McRae from Cienega plans on attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She cites her mother as her inspiration.

Valedictorian Fatima Cubillas Flores from Empire will be attending Northwestern University with a dual major in Pre-Med and Journalism. Fatima is inspired by her English teacher, Mrs. Ochoa, noting that “Mrs Ochoa has been a role model and source of encouragements, supporting our academic and personal growth.”
Salutatorian Peter Kerr from Empire will be attending University of Gonzaga in Spokane, Washington. He plans to undertake a dual major in History and Pre-law. Peter writes that his “Uncle Doug inspires me in that he has done what I want to do. He is a lawyer, which is what I desire to be, and is very committed and successful in his field. However, while he spends lots of time working, he has also found a way to live happily with his wife, my aunt, and makes sure to enjoy the time that he has. He is also just generally one of the most generous people I know who is always willing to give me advice for any question I may have.”

Valedictorian Destry Morris from Pantano High School plans on attend Pima Community College, ultimately pursuing a degree in Radiology. Destry is inspired by her dad, Steven Morris.
