The Vail School District requires all seniors to complete either an internship or volunteer in the community.  Accordingly, some High School seniors from Andrada High School are working on their senior exit project.  Required to put in at least 50 hours, these young adults are designing, building, decorating, and staffing a haunted house for charity.  Fifteen volunteers from the community, including several students from the high school drama class, student council and HOSA (an international club focused on health care), will be on hand for the operation of the haunted house, which will open on October 28th, from 6 PM to 10 PM at 18485 South Mann Avenue.  The entry fee will be five canned food items or $5.00 to donate to charity.

The event is formally being called “Haunts-4-Hunger” and the raised funds and donated food will be donated to the “Greater Vail Community Resources.”
