The Arizona Trail Association has launched a new app.This is “undoubtedly the most comprehensive digital navigational resource we have ever developed,” the Arizona Trail commented.
The app has everything a trail user would need at their fingertips. A few of the important features include:
- GPS enabled map of the Arizona Trail
- Offline too maps and satellite imagery with photographs
- Over 1,100 waypoints along or near the trail
- Elevation profile and details for each waypoint
- GPS-enabled data book
- Comprehensive water information
- Complete gateway community and resupply information (Vail is one of these communities!)
- Trailhead information
- The ability to text or email your location
