Support HARTT
HARTT, Inc. is an Arizona volunteer based 501(c)3 nonprofit Humane Animal Rescue & Trapping Team. During our family’s experience and journey finding our lost Mastiff, Tucker, last year, we partnered with HARTT, Inc., based out of Maricopa County. They provided us with remote consulting, and gave us techniques and strategies on tracking, finding and rescuing Tucker, all of which we attribute a big piece to our success in rescuing Tucker, in collaboration with the community who came out in force to support us and help us rescue Tucker, I have been inspired to bring HARTT to Tucson as a vital piece to our vibrant need to help our community and it’s happening! 
HARTT has historically only been in Maricopa County and Payson, Arizona and I’m excited for our team to be able to support our community and become the first HARTT Team in Pima County! This is a milestone for Southern Arizona. I have approximately 14 volunteers who have expressed an interest in being a part of this inaugural Tucson Team. We are excited to bring the expertise of HARTT to Pima County. Our mission is to rescue lost dogs who can’t be captured by ordinary means, while combining intentional on-the-ground search efforts, trapping techniques and personalized consultations with pet owners.
In our effort to get up and running so we can make the biggest impact, our main focus at this time is raising funds for much needed equipment. The cost of equipment for a single rescue is around $1500 which covers the cost of a trap, wheel kit, game trail camera, camera lock, SD card, lithium batteries and a microchip scanner. We have raised over $1600 dollars, with our goal of raising $5,000 so we can make the biggest impact. If you love animals, I encourage you to consider donating to our mission.
