Where do you go when you need quality items for a reasonable price on a budget? Why the Vail Depot Thrift Store, of course! As you make your way through the “downtown Vail” area, you may notice some tempting items on display outside the store. If you’re stopped waiting for a train, it may be the Universe’s invitation to pop on in. Located in the “Land Between the Tracks” across the street from St. Rita’s Shrine, this unique store provides valuable home and fashion items for affordable prices. Instead of hauling yourself all the way into Tucson, why not find a bargain near home? You never know what handy item you could come across.
The Vail Depot Thrift Store boasts quality clothing, accessories, and footwear. Whether you are choosing to dress your children or yourself, there is a fine piece of jewelry, shoes, or a top for you. At this thrift store, dressing your family doesn’t have to break the bank.
Are you in the mood to dress up your home? The home décor at the depot is definitely first-rate. We’ve got specialty items as well as everyday use items to fill those holes in your baking or cooking sets. Want to host a fun party? The Depot has table runners, fancy dishware, as well as holiday ornamentation. You’ll get to enjoy yourself as you shop.
Now, don’t forget entertainment for the littles while you shop. There are toys, learning tools, and games for every age to enjoy. The best part is kids get a free book when you shop with them. So, if you can’t get away to shop by yourself, they are welcome too.
Vail’s quaint thrift store is about more than just getting quality items at your fingertips. The Vail Depot serves the community by recycling gently used items and all the profits go straight to Resources Vail Food Bank located just across the parking lot. Talk about keeping it local! Our Thrift Store is a win-win for our community.
Thanks to our wonderful neighborhood volunteers, we are open Tuesday through Thursday from 10am to 2pm and Saturdays from 9am to 2pm. Being a volunteer at the Depot can be pleasurable and rewarding. Plus, you get to see all the cool items when they first come in. Our Vail Depot Thrift Store could not operate without volunteers and we’re always looking for more.
There are many ways to serve our community and shopping at The Vail Depot between the tracks is one of them. We hope you pop in this holiday season to see what we have in store for you!
