Sheriff Mark Napier would like to announce the formation of the Sheriff’s Citizen Advisory Committee (SCAC). The SCAC will be a group of community leaders that meet monthly with the sheriff or his designee. The objective of the committee is to provide input, voice concerns, and to ensure and maintain open communication between the community and the sheriff’s department.
The committee will consist of 12 members that are selected by the sheriff from those who submit a membership interest form that can be found on our website at: https://www.pimasheriff.org/public-information/SCAC.
Each chosen member will serve a 12-month term and may serve one additional term. The meetings will begin in January of 2020, pending applications and approval of members.
Sheriff Napier continues to make it a priority to engage with our community and believes that the SCAC will help foster a continued partnership between the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and our community.
