Dear Editor:
I am wondering how the public can find out what the school district paid for that property where Cuckoo Charlie’s is? I think that is the biggest waste of money I’ve ever seen in my life. There was a deal on the table where the school district could’ve gotten very lucrative money for the water line that runs in front of the property. Dollar General was offering huge incentives to be able to tie in to the waterline that the school district owns. I think the district needs to be accountable for letting us know since they are asking for so much more in taxes from area residents.
