You put the “Great” in Greater Vail by Linda Long
ReSources is happy to announce that Vail Depot Thrift Store will open for business on December first! We are scheduling volunteers, if you were thinking of volunteering, now is the time. Volunteer applications are available at www.ReSourcesVail.org or stop in.
We called on our neighbors to help us by donating their gently used clothing, housewares and accessories and wow, were we amazed! Not only do we have merchandise for our store, we have beautiful shelving compliments of Albert Kingsbury, from the Pulte Group, and the carpenters from Del Webb at Del Lago Wood Workers Group have customized all to fit our needs.
On November 12th, the first annual Vail Championship Cup at del Lago was a great day. Cienega won the Vail School Championship Trophy and Alyza Flores won ”Women’s Closest to the Pin.” Next year we’ll see if Cienega keeps the trophy!
Mr. Young’s Digital Communications students at Andrada Polytechnic High School finished designing logo’s for ReSources, our Food Bank and for Vail Depot Thrift Store. Watch for them!
As in our advertisement, the goal thermometer is on the rise, thank you. You put the great in Greater Vail. Joyful Holiday’s from your friends at ReSources.
