Meet Buddy! In 2012, A family friend came home to discover four abandoned puppies on her doorstep. Wanting to give them the best possible home, she reached out to friends and neighbors to see if anyone wanted to adopt. I wasn’t considering adopting a dog, but I didn’t see any harm in looking. She came over with all four puppies and almost immediately one of the boys stumbled over to me and sat at my feet. From that moment to right now as I write this, we’ve hardly left each other’s side. My husband found Layla walking down the street 12+ years ago. She was most likely abandoned with no identification and many cactus stickers embedded in her. We could not find an owner for 2 weeks and with no response, we kept our sweet girl. She has brought so much joy to us over the years. We feel privileged to be able to take care of this sweet soul as she nearing life’s end. This picture was inspired because she loves to sit on her front “porch”. These are our dogs Mocha (left) and Shifu (right), both are 2 years old. They both came from the same breeder but we got them at different times. We had Shifu since he was two months old, but got Mocha when she was already two years old. Fun fact they were only born one day apart. They truly completely our family. The Mendoza Family
This is Bucky, named after Marvel’s Winter Soldier. He is 18 months old & we found him at The Puppy Place in Tucson. Bucky is a Lab/German Shepherd mix and is a Parvo survivor. We weren’t sure he was going to make it but we’re sure glad he did. He loves walks & puppacinos & thinks he’s chihuahua sized (but he’s close to 60 pounds). Jodi Clarke
Our names are Paxton the Pomeranian and MeMe. My Poppy gifted us with Paxton in 2012 when Paxton was born. My mom adopted MeMe from the Humane Society in 2013. They love going on road trips with us. Bella Bai Fogle
