As a lifelong resident of Vail, I can tell you that I have never seen a bond proposal with almost nothing of value to Vail voters. I visited Colossal Cave when I was a little kid and took my kids as they grew up, but the days of this cave are over. One of the wonders of the world is just down the road at Kartchner Caverns State Park. It’s time to close the doors on the past and look to the future. Pima County Fairgrounds earns almost a million a year, let them invest their money each year to make improvements. The only possible issue I might vote yes on is the Sheriff’s Station IF they put it in Vail. This county, state and country need less government, less taxes and elected officials that recognize when your county has almost four times the debt as all the other counties in the state put together, it’s time to stop borrowing.
