Health Tip
Vitamin D, the sunshine vitamin, is produced by the body when sunlight strikes the skin. Sufficient amounts can help tame muscle spasms. While sunscreen is necessary to protect the skin from cancer, it also blocks the skin from the sun, preventing it from producing vitamin D to help the spasms. It may be easier to take a daily supplement of vitamin D3. Check your doctor on the dosage amount.
Beauty Tip
It’s sandal time again! We need to soften are cracked toes and heels. Try slathering clean feet with Vaseline or heavy duty cream. Wrap them in plastic wrap and cover with a pair of socks before bed. Slather as often as needed. Have a happy sandal-wearing summer!
