Submit a well-written, winning grant – of course. Local teacher Mary Garcia, from Corona Foothills Middle School, was awarded a grant from CenturyLink’s Clarke M. Williams Foundation in the category of Robotics: Real World Applications. The grants of up to $5,000 are awarded to schools in CenturyLink’s local service areas on behalf of teachers who have developed specific plans to implement technology in their classrooms. This year’s Teachers and Technology program awarded $124,000 in Arizona.
The staff and students of Corona Foothills Middle School congratulate Mary Garcia for her efforts and for seeking extra opportunities for their students. A special thank you to CenturyLink for providing the funds for the students’ robotics projects.
