American Idol finalist, award-winning vocalist and Tucson treasure Crystal Stark recently checked off another item on her bucket list when she opened the Crescendo Vocal School. Until recently, Crystal maintained an active performance schedule while teaching music in the Vail School district and giving private voice lessons. With the arrival of Covid-19 her world changed overnight. “I blinked my eyes and everything I was used to was gone,” said Crystal. But like every other challenge she has met in her life, Crystal channeled her life’s passion into a new and exciting direction. “Now more than ever, I believe that music has the power to bring hope and joy to people’s lives. By creating Crescendo Vocal School, an online lesson platform, I have found a way to connect with those who want to learn and grow and find some peace in their lives.”
Crescendo Vocal School is a place for singers of all abilities to grow their voice in a healthy and fun environment. This is not a music school that does vocals on the side. Crescendo focuses on vocals all the time and encourages students to find their true voice. Crescendo welcomes singers ages 8 and above to explore their range and talent through private or group lessons. All classes are taught by Crystal and range from 30-60 minutes in length. All lessons/classes are virtual right now via ZOOM, Google Meet, or Skype. At some point in the future when safe to do so, classes will be offered in person as well.
