On Tuesday the 24th of May, graduating students of Vail Academy and High School honored Carmen Santana as the one staff member who made an impact on their lives. For the past six years, Carmen has served as the day porter not only taking care of the building, but she also motivated the students with her positive attitude and helpful nature. Carmen was presented with a graduation robe adorned with student signatures as a sign of their appreciation.

Senior Courtney Barger noted, “We love Carmen. I don’t think you could talk to a single person here on campus who doesn’t know her by name, you can always go and talk to her, you can always ask her for anything, she’s always helpful.”

Congratulations Carmen!
